Each year the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics recognizes outstanding teachers, professors, emerging leaders and friends of mathematics.  We invite you to nominate deserving educators for these awards!

*NOTE:  OCTM Awardees are recognized at OCTM's annual conference.  The 2019 OCTM Conference is scheduled for October 23-25, 2019 in Sandusky, Ohio.

For classroom teachers, instructional coaches, math specialists, curriculum directors, etc, OCTM awards elementary, middle school and high school teacher awards for each of OCTM's 8 regions (districts).

The Kenneth Cummins Award recognizes an educator at a college/university for outstanding teaching in mathematics or mathematics education courses.

The Friend of Mathematics Award recognizes significant contributions to the state of Ohio in the mathematics education community by a person who is not eligible for the other awards.

The Emerging Leader Award recognizes leadership in the mathematics community by a pre-service teacher or a teacher with five or fewer years of classroom experience.
